By using img-fix.com you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short, and the part that matters most to you is the second section.

1. What the service is

img-fix.com provides free image utilities that run in your web browser, together with reference information about photograph requirements published by government authorities and examination bodies. There is no account, no subscription and no charge.

2. The specification data is reference information, not advice

This is the important one. The photo requirements published on this site are compiled from official government and examination-body sources, and every page records the source URL and the date it was read. We take that seriously: where we could not read an official source, the entry is withheld rather than filled in, and where official sources contradict each other, both are shown.

Even so:

• Requirements change, sometimes without public notice, and a page may be out of date by the time you read it.
• Authorities apply their own rules, and an individual office may interpret a requirement differently from how it is written.
• Meeting a published dimension is not the same as having an acceptable photograph. Lighting, expression, sharpness, background, clothing and how recent the photo is are all judged too.

Always verify requirements against the official source before you submit an application, and treat the issuing authority as the only authority. img-fix is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any government, immigration authority, passport agency or examination board.

3. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the information on it is complete or current, or that an image produced with it will be accepted by any authority.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, img-fix and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, applications, fees, opportunities or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service — including a rejected application, a missed deadline, a fee paid to resubmit, or reliance on information published here.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

5. Your files and your responsibilities

Your images are processed in your browser and are never transmitted to us — see the privacy policy. You are responsible for the images you process, for having the right to process them, and for keeping your own copies. We cannot recover anything, because we never had it.

You agree not to use the service to produce fraudulent identity documents, to misrepresent anyone's appearance in an official application, or for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

The site's design, code and written content are the property of its operators. The compiled specification data is presented as factual reference information, with each source attributed and linked; government publications remain the property of the respective authorities. Corrections and citations are welcome. Wholesale reproduction of the compiled dataset without attribution is not.

7. Advertising

The service is intended to be supported by display advertising. Advertisements, where present, are identified as such and are not endorsements of the advertised product or service.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated; the date above will change when they are. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
